Review an imported document design
Confirm the fields Linbis detected in an uploaded document, then turn it into an editable Forms Studio template.
When you upload an existing document (a PDF or image) in Form Templates, Linbis rebuilds it and detects the fillable fields. On the Review imported design screen you confirm those fields before the document becomes an editable template. Nothing is saved until you accept.
Layout
Two panes sit side by side: Original upload (tagged SOURCE) and Reconstructed template (tagged EDITABLE). Toggle Boxes on / Boxes off to show or hide the detected regions over the original.
The Field review rail on the right lists every detected field. Filter it by Needs review, Must review, or All. Fields are grouped by Compliance-critical · must review, Low & medium confidence, and High confidence.
Steps
- Set This document is a: — Shipment, Quote, or Invoice. This decides which freight tokens the fields can map to.
- Work down the rail, field by field:
- Confirm — accept the token the AI mapped it to (a confirmed field reads Confirmed).
- Remap — pick a different freight token from "Pick a token…".
- Make it a field — promote detected static text into a real data field.
- Keep as design — leave it as fixed background text with no token.
- This is a table — mark a repeating region so its rows come from a collection.
- Clear the Must review and compliance-critical fields — those must be confirmed no matter how confident the AI was.
- When only design text remains, Keep remaining N as design marks it all in one click.
- Finish with the footer:
- Discard import drops the upload and every mapping.
- Accept & Open in Designer creates the template and opens it. It stays disabled until every compliance-critical field is confirmed.
Result
Accepting creates the template ("Creating template…") and opens the Forms Studio designer, where you can adjust everything further.
