AI Import Review
Review a document that AI rebuilt into a template — confirm each detected field, map it to a freight token, mark tables, and accept it into the designer.
AI Import Review (/documents/templates/import/[importJobId]) is the screen you land on after
Upload a Design in the Form Builder gallery. AI has rebuilt your uploaded PDF,
Word doc, or image into an editable template; here you "confirm the fields we detected before this
becomes an editable template. Nothing is saved until you accept." (It is part of Forms Studio, so it
appears only where that feature is enabled.)
While the file is still being read it shows "Processing your document…"; a rejected upload shows "We couldn't process this file."
The three panes
Once ready, the screen splits into the Original upload (the source, with a boxes overlay you can toggle), the Reconstructed template (the editable result), and the Field review rail on the right, which tracks how many of the detected fields you have confirmed. At the top, "This document is a:" sets the record type — Quote, Shipment, or Invoice — which shapes the token suggestions.
Confirm each field
Work down the rail, filtering by Needs review, Must review, or All:
- For a data field, Maps to freight token — choose from the catalog ("Pick a token…"; you can only pick an existing token) — then Confirm. A confirmed field can be re-mapped later.
- Compliance-critical fields are flagged Must review and must be confirmed regardless of confidence.
- This is a table switches a field to a table, where you set which collection the "Rows come from" and map each column (Add column / Remove column).
- Keep as design leaves a detected item as static background text; Make it a field reverts that.
Accept into the designer
The footer tracks your progress and, once every must-review field is confirmed, Accept & Open in Designer opens Create your template (name, record type, page size, orientation) and creates the template. Keep remaining … as design marks all leftover fields as static in one step. Discard import drops the upload and every mapping — nothing was saved until you accept.
