Manage your tracking alerts
Read, clear, and dismiss the exceptions Linbis surfaces about your shipments — delays, arrivals, and deadlines.
The Alerts page is one calm list of the things worth a look: delays, arrivals, departures, port congestion, and document deadlines on your shipments. The most urgent items sit at the top.
Steps
- Open Alerts from the sidebar. The header tells you how many are unread — for example "3 unread — the urgent items are at the top." When nothing needs you, it reads "You're all caught up."
- Alerts are grouped by urgency:
- Action required — critical items.
- Heads up — warnings.
- Info — for your awareness.
- Read a row. Each shows the alert type (for example Delay, Arrival, Document deadline), the shipment number, when it arrived, and a New badge while it is unread.
- Clear it:
- Mark read — keeps the alert but drops the New badge.
- Dismiss — removes it from the list.
- To clear everything at once, use Mark all read in the header. You get an "All caught up" confirmation.
- If you have more than one page of alerts, Load more pulls in the next batch.
Result
Read alerts dim in the list; dismissed alerts leave it. When the list is empty you see All clear — "No exceptions right now. We'll surface anything urgent here."
If you're on a freight forwarder account
The steps above describe the cargo-owner alerts inbox. On a freight forwarder account, Alerts doesn't open this calm list yet — a forwarder-specific alerts view is on the roadmap. Opening Alerts instead shows a short placeholder screen with two shortcuts, Back to dashboard and Open shipments.
Until the forwarder view ships, your shipment-level alerts live inside each shipment's detail page — open a shipment to see the delays, deadlines, and exceptions tied to it.
