Edit a quote
Change a quote's details and save your updates.
You can revise a quote — its route, parties, cargo, or pricing — until it is converted. Editing keeps the same quote number and history.
Steps
- Open the quote and select Edit, or choose Edit from its row menu in the Quotes list.
- Update the fields you need to change — the edit form mirrors the quote's overview cards (route, parties, cargo, and financials).
- Select Update Quote to save. The button shows "Updating..." while it saves. Cancel discards your changes and returns to the quote.
Result
Your changes are saved to the quote and reflected across its detail tabs. From there you can re-send it to the customer or convert it — see the Quotes screen reference.
Tips
- A Converted quote is read-only. To change one, reopen it first ("Reopen quote (revert to Sent)") or Duplicate it and edit the copy.
- Send- and conversion-readiness checks still apply after editing — a missing total, port, customer, or a dangerous-goods hold will block sending until resolved.
