Emails
Advance a shipment from the email workspace
Move a shipment through its milestones, generate the AWB or BOL, and invoice it — all from the email that triggered it.
Once a shipment exists, the email workspace shows its lifecycle as a strip of stages. The active stage carries a single primary button that advances the shipment, plus the document and billing actions for that point in the journey.
Confirm each milestone
The active stage's button advances the status:
- Confirm Pickup — the cargo has been collected (Booking → Picked up).
- Confirm Departure — it has left origin (Picked up → In transit).
- Confirm Arrival — it reached destination (In transit → At destination).
- Customs Cleared — customs released it (At destination → Out for delivery).
- Confirm Delivery — it was delivered (Out for delivery → Delivered).
Each confirmation moves the shipment one step and can draft the matching customer notice for you to review.
Generate documents
At the Documentation stage, the primary button matches the mode:
- Generate Air Waybill for air.
- Generate Bill of Lading for ocean and ground.
- Generate Document when the mode is not set.
Add charges and invoice
At the Billing stage:
- Review the charges panel. + Add Charge Manually opens the Add Charge dialog — fill it in and confirm with Add Charge.
- If automatic pricing failed, Retry Pricing runs it again.
- When the charges are right, Create Invoice raises the customer invoice from them.
Result
Every action updates the shipment in place, so the file, the timeline, and any generated documents stay in step with the email trail that drove them.
