Upload a rate document for AI extraction
Drop a carrier rate sheet — XLSX, CSV, PDF, HTML, or a photo — and let AI extract the rates into the Rate Quotes inbox.
Instead of keying carrier rates in by hand, drop the rate sheet and let Linbis read it. Rate Intelligence → Upload accepts spreadsheets, PDFs, web captures, and even a photo, then AI extracts the rates and lands them in the Rate Quotes inbox for review.
Steps
- Open Rate Intelligence in the sidebar and select Upload (or Upload Document from the Rate Quotes screen). The header reads "Upload Rate Document".
- Under Document (XLSX, CSV, PDF, HTML, photo), choose the file. Max 10MB; photos route to OCR.
- Optionally add a Carrier hint (optional) — the carrier account — so extraction attributes the rates correctly.
- Select Upload & extract.
- Watch the progress: Uploading file… → Enqueueing extraction… → AI extracting rates…
Result
When it finishes you'll see Extraction complete with how many rate quotes were created. Select View rate quotes to jump to the inbox (your new quotes highlighted), or Upload another to process the next sheet. If it can't read the file you'll see Upload failed with the reason — fix the file and retry.
Tips
- Extraction is never trusted blindly: everything lands as a pending rate quote with a confidence score. Approve or bulk-promote them in Review AI-extracted rate quotes.
