Ground

The shipments list scoped to ground — the Ground Shipments view, PRO number references, and how ground moves differ from air and ocean.

Shipments → Ground opens the shipments list scoped to ground. The page becomes Ground Shipments ("Showing ground freight shipments.") with the scoped total next to the title and a View All button back to the unfiltered list.

The shipments list scoped to ground — the Ground Shipments view with ground moves only, the MAWB/MBL column showing the PRO number, and the truck icon on each row

What the mode scope changes

  • Only ground moves are listed, and the summary cards compute over ground only.
  • New Shipment starts the form with mode Ground preselected.
  • The Mode picker disappears from the advanced filter modal — the page is already scoped.
  • Toolbar, direction tabs, views, bulk bar, and columns otherwise match All Shipments.

Ground-specific fields

  • The MAWB / MBL column (its header never changes) shows the PRO — the trucker's PRO number, falling back to the tracking number when no PRO is set. Rows carry the truck icon.
  • Ground moves have no waybill pair like MAWB/HAWB or MBL/HBL — the PRO plus the shipment number identify the move. Masters and houses still exist for consolidated truckloads; see consolidating houses under a master.
  • Live positions of ground moves surface on the Fleet Tracking board, including its drayage pickup view.

Pricing still leans on chargeable weight where dimensional rules apply — the concept is explained in Master, house & chargeable weight; for the full quote-to-delivered flow, the first air shipment tutorial walks the same screens.
