Role departures
Hand a departing colleague's accounts, shipments, quotes and open emails to their successor in one reviewed step.
When somebody leaves β or moves desks β their functional roles go with them, and the work they
held stops being anybody's. Role departures (/settings/role-departures) moves it all to a
successor in one reviewed step instead of hunting account by account.
Run a handover
Pick the person leaving and the person taking over. Linbis previews exactly what will move β accounts, shipments, quotes and open email assignments β before anything happens. Read the preview, then confirm. Nothing is written until you do.
You can narrow the handover to specific roles, or to specific accounts, when only part of someone's work is changing hands.
Important β Emails that live in a mailbox the successor cannot open are left where they are, and the result tells you how many. This is deliberate: moving them would also take them out of the unassigned tray, leaving mail that nobody could find. Give the successor access to that mailbox, then run the handover again for those.
What gets recorded
Every handover writes an audit entry β who moved what to whom, and how much was left behind and why. If a handover comes up short of the preview, that difference is recorded rather than silently absorbed, so you can find the remainder later instead of discovering it through a missed email.
