Review and apply an agent's changes to a file
The file review workbench — edit the fields an agent extracted, apply or reject them in bulk, and send the drafted reply.
Open a file from Active Files and you get the review workbench: on the left, the Agent Inbox of everything an agent proposed for this shipment or quote; on the right, the Shipment 360 panel where you decide, field by field, what actually gets written.
Before you start
- Applying a change updates the live shipment or quote and is logged — you can see it later under History.
- An amber What needs to happen banner at the top lists the outstanding steps in order (for example "Review 3 field updates — 1 blocker" or "2 draft communications ready to send").
Steps
- Read each Agent Inbox card on the left. A card names the agent action ("Agent extracted fields", "Agent drafted a reply"...), the source, and a confidence badge (High, Medium, or Low with a percentage). Select a card to focus its fields on the right.
- Decide per card with Approve or Reject. A blocker-level card asks Confirm approval? → Yes, approve first. A sanctions/compliance blocker offers Escalate to Compliance (manager role required) instead.
- Work the right-hand Shipment 360 panel across its three tabs — Fields,
Communications, and History:
- Fields — an editable grid of the shipment's or quote's fields, grouped into sections (Parties, Routing & Dates, Cargo...). The values an agent proposed are highlighted; edit any of them inline. When suggestions are still waiting, a bar reads "N AI suggestions pending" with two buttons — Reject all and Apply all. These fire immediately, with no confirmation step, so review the grid before you select either one.
- Communications — a drafted reply or notification. Edit to adjust To, Subject, or body, then Send Email / Send Notification — this actually sends the message. Reject discards the draft.
- History — what was already applied or dismissed on this file.
Result
Every approved field lands on the shipment or quote (a "Change applied." toast confirms it) and the card leaves the inbox. When the inbox clears you see All clear — No pending agent actions for this shipment. Sent messages move to the Communications log.
