Change status, hold, split, and repack cargo
Act on on-hand cargo lines from the inventory Table view — change status, place a hold, view history, and split or repack where those actions apply.
From the Inventory Table view you can act on individual cargo lines without opening a receipt or release. Open the row menu (the ⋯ button) on any line, or tick several rows to use the bulk bar. These controls are English-only today.
Change status
- Choose Change Status from a row menu, or from the bulk bar after selecting rows.
- The dialog shows the Current Status. Pick a New Status — New, Received, On Hand, Released, Pre-Loaded, Picked, Packed, Loaded, In Transit, Delivered, or Cancelled — and add optional Notes.
- Select Change Status. From the bulk bar this applies to every selected line at once.
Place a hold
- Choose Place Hold.
- Pick a Hold Type — Customs, Damage, Quality, Legal, Recall, or Dispute — and add an optional Reason.
- Select Place Hold. A hold keeps the cargo on hand but flags it so it is not released by mistake. Apply a hold to one line at a time.
View history
Choose View History to see the Commodity History — a timeline of every event on that line (created, status changed, split, repacked, held, released, and so on), each with the before and after status, a note, who did it, and when. Use Show field updates to include routine edits.
Split and repack
These two act on cargo in a specific document context rather than the plain inventory grid:
- Split — on a release's cargo table, split one line into two so you can release part of it. You enter the pieces to split off and the original line keeps the rest.
- Repack — on a receipt, release, or shipment cargo table, consolidate loose items into a package or container (choose a Package Type, optionally a Container Type), or Unpack them again, and print 4x6 labels.
