Warehouse β†’ Billing β€” "Warehouse Billing", "Manage billing profiles and run storage billing for clients" β€” is where you charge clients for keeping their cargo in your warehouse. It has two tabs: Profiles (the rate agreement per client) and Billing Runs (the calculated charges for a period). This screen is English-only today, and only owners and admins can execute or approve a run.

1. Create a billing profile

A profile fixes the rates for one client at one warehouse.

  1. On the Profiles tab, select Create Profile.
  2. Choose the Account and enter the Warehouse (both are locked once saved).
  3. Set the Storage Rate Type β€” Per Pallet / Day, Per CBM / Month, Per Sq Ft / Month, or Per Piece / Day β€” and the Storage Rate.
  4. Add Handling In Rate, Handling Out Rate, Free Time (Days), Billing Frequency (Weekly, Monthly, or Anniversary), Minimum Monthly, and Currency.
  5. Select Create Profile. Edit it later with the pencil (this reads Update Profile).

Each account-plus-warehouse pair can have only one profile.

2. Run storage billing

  1. On the Billing Runs tab, select Run Billing.
  2. Pick the Billing Profile and set Period Start and Period End.
  3. Select Preview for a dry run β€” it shows the per-commodity storage, handling, and accessorial totals with nothing saved. Any minimum-monthly top-up is called out here.
  4. When the numbers look right, select Execute Run. This saves a run in DRAFT, captures an inventory snapshot per commodity, and attaches any loose accessorial charges from the period. A run for the same profile and period can only be executed once.

3. Approve the run

On a DRAFT run, select Approve (the check icon in its Actions column) to move it to APPROVED. An approved run is the one that can be turned into an invoice β€” the invoice itself is raised in Accounting, which flips the run to INVOICED. Runs move through DRAFT β†’ APPROVED β†’ INVOICED (or VOIDED).
