Notification Settings

Configure multi-channel AI-agent alerts — add WhatsApp, Slack, Teams, or email channels, verify and test them, route by priority, and set quiet hours.

Notification Settings (/settings/notifications) is where you "Configure how and where you receive alerts from the AI agent system." (The Notifications tab of the main Settings covers email/push toggles and links here with its Configure button.) The screen is a single stack of sections.

Alerts & Insights

Choose the Minimum severity to show (All severities through Critical only) and turn individual alert types on or off across Operational, Financial, Optimization & Rates, CRM, and Compliance groups (customs holds, payment overdue, rate expiring, denied-party matches, and more). Save Notification Settings commits the changes.

Notification Channels

In-app Notifications are always on. Add Channel opens a dialog to add a WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Email Digest channel — each asks for the right detail (phone number, webhook URL, or email address). A new channel shows Unverified until you verify it:

  • Test sends a sample message to confirm delivery.
  • Selecting Unverified opens verification — a 6-digit code for WhatsApp, a "did you receive it?" confirmation for Slack/Teams, or an inbox link for email (up to 5 attempts).
  • The trash icon removes a channel.

Routing, escalation, and quiet hours

  • Priority Routing — pick which verified channels receive CRITICAL (P0), HIGH (P1), NORMAL (P2), and LOW alerts, then Save Routing. (In-app is always on; channel columns appear once a channel is verified.)
  • Escalation Contact — set a fallback teammate who is notified "when critical alerts go unanswered," then Save Contact.
  • Quiet Hours — a Start Time, End Time, and Timezone that suppress non-critical alerts (P0 always delivers), saved with Save Quiet Hours.

Notification History lists what was sent across channels, filterable by channel and status.
