QuickBooks sync
Connect QuickBooks Online, choose which entities sync and in which direction, run a manual Sync All, and review sync history, errors, and entity mappings.
QuickBooks Online (/settings/integrations/quickbooks) is the sync hub for Intuit: "Manage your
QuickBooks Online integration, sync settings, and account mappings." It is required before the
GL + QBO and QBO Only accounting modes can post. (During maintenance the page
shows "QuickBooks integration is temporarily unavailable for maintenance. Please try again later.")
Connect and disconnect
The QuickBooks Online Connection card shows the status β Connected, Disconnected, Expired, or Error. Choose Connect QuickBooks Online (or Reconnect when expired) to run Intuit's OAuth; on return it reads "QuickBooks connected successfully!" A "Data Residency Disclosure" notes tokens are encrypted at rest in Azure Key Vault. Disconnect asks to confirm and explains it revokes the token, stops syncing, marks mappings stale, but preserves historical data.
Choose what syncs
Sync Configuration ("Enable entities to auto-sync") groups toggles into Master Data (Customers, Vendors, Items, Chart of Accounts, Tax Codes, Departments) and Transactions (Invoices, Credit Memos, Bills, Vendor Credits, Payments, Bill Payments). Each enabled entity picks a direction β Push (Linbis β QBO), Pull (QBO β Linbis), or Bidirectional β then Save Configuration.
Run and monitor a sync
Sync All pushes Customers, Vendors, Invoices, and Bills to QuickBooks (payments are pull-only). The confirm dialog β "Sync with QuickBooks?" β creates or updates matching records, then Sync now starts the job. Below, four cards track Synced, Pending, Errors, and Entity Types, and three read-only sections record the detail:
- Sync History β every operation with its status; failed or partial rows expose Retry to reprocess just the failed entities.
- Recent Errors β the error log, most recent first.
- Entity Mappings β the Linbis-to-QuickBooks ID map with each record's sync status.
