Payments
Connect your Stripe account with Stripe Connect to accept customer payments through Linbis Pay, and understand the platform fee.
Payments (/settings/payments) connects your Stripe account so you can accept customer payments
through Linbis Pay: "Connect your Stripe account to accept customer payments. You stay in full
control of your Stripe dashboard and customer relationships."
Linbis Pay is feature-gated. If it is not turned on for your account the page shows only "Linbis Pay is not enabled for your account yet. Contact support for access." — connect the rest with Linbis support.
Connect Stripe
You connect one Stripe account per legal entity, each on its own gateway card:
- On a card marked Not connected, choose Connect with Stripe — a redirect to Stripe's hosted onboarding.
- Finish Stripe's onboarding (business profile, terms acceptance). If you leave it incomplete the card reads Setup not finished with Finish Stripe onboarding.
- Back in Linbis a "Stripe connected" banner appears; Stripe "is verifying your account. This usually takes a few minutes." Use Refresh status to re-check — when Stripe enables it the card flips to Connected and active and shows Charges and Payouts as enabled.
Other card states you may see are Account restricted (Stripe needs more verification — resolve it in the Stripe dashboard) and Disconnecting… (waiting for pending payments to drain).
The platform fee
A Platform fee panel discloses what Linbis takes: "Linbis collects a percentage per successful payment" within any configured minimum and maximum. Stripe's own processing fees (typically 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards) are billed directly by Stripe and are separate. The badge shows whether the fee is a Custom agreement or your plan default.
If no legal entity exists yet the page reads "No legal entities configured yet. Set one up first in Company settings."
