AR payment detail
The customer-payment detail page — allocations, and the Apply Credit, Mark NSF, and Void actions for handling credits and bounced payments.
Opening a payment from the AR Payments list lands on its detail page — one customer payment, what it was applied to, and the actions for reworking it. Summary tiles at the top show Amount, Applied, and Unapplied.
Tabs
- Allocations — the invoices this payment paid, with Invoice #, Applied, and Date.
- Journal Entry and Activity — placeholders today; each reads that the detail "will be available in a future update."
Actions
- Apply Credit — appears when the payment has an Unapplied balance and is not voided. It opens the Apply Credit sheet (showing Payment, Customer, and Available Credit); set the amount to apply and confirm with Apply Credit. A toast reads "Credit applied successfully."
- Mark NSF — for a bounced (non-sufficient-funds) payment. It opens a confirm dialog, "This will reverse all allocations and mark the payment as returned (NSF)," where you enter a reason and, optionally, an NSF Fee Amount and a Bank Fee Account to charge the customer. Once marked, the payment carries an NSF badge.
- Void — reverses all allocations and voids the payment; the dialog warns "This action cannot be undone."
